Our Genesis: A Vision from 1993
Value-Added Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd. was established in 1993, mainly producing coupling for the hydraulic system. Started with only one manual lathe machine, Mr. Lim Beng Geok and also the founder of this company was working all by his own from taking order to the delivery of goods. His skillful workmanship and attention to details has earned him a good name in the industry. In 2015, as Mr. Lim continues holding high standard on quality production, we expanded the business into the construction industry and started to supply to one of the Forbes top 500 companies in the world ranking.In the same year, Value-Added Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd. is awarded the Golden Eagle Award under the SME category.

In 2019, as the business of the company continues to rise, we invested the first set of automated CNC machines equipped with robot arm. It is known to be the first automated CNC in the industry. Recently, to support the growing demand from our customers, we have added two sets of automated CNC machines, one robot welding machine, and 11 more CNC machines. In 2023, as an effort in continuous investment in automation, we invested our first robot welding machine.
In 2025, believing that the business in hydraulic fitting needs specialized management, our sister company LBG Exitflex Sdn Bhd has taken over the business from Value-Added Industries (M) Sdn Bhd, where LBG can now fully supply all the related products to our customers in the field, aiming to improve the overall experience for our customers. On the meantime, we will continue to provide support to LBG for customized production of hydraulic fittings.
We believe in producing high quality product and service as the sustaining competitive advantage.To maintain the high quality standard in our production, we have obtained ISO 9001 certification and is aiming to continue to tighten our quality control process along the way. Lastly, we are also the lifetime member of The Selangor & Kuala Lumpur Foundry & Engineering Industries Association (SFEIA), we believe that greater network connection enhances sustainability!

This opportunity opens up a whole new world for Value-Added Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd. and in 2019, we have invested the first set of automated CNC machines equipped with robot arm, which is the first automated CNC in the industry. Today, Value-Added Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd. has three sets of automated CNC machines equipped with robot arm. Lastly, in 2024, as another step for us to move towards fully automation, we have invested in a robotic welding machine.
In 2025, in order to make sure we can always maintain the high standard of professionalism in the industry, we decided to split the management and operation related to the coupling for hydraulic system and the coupling for construction accessory. While we will continue the production of the coupling for hydraulic system, our sister company LBG Exitflex Sdn. Bhd. will solely responsible on its management and operation. Similarly, we see quality in product and service as the sustaining competitive advantage. To maintain the high quality standard in our production, we have obtained several quality certificates including ISO 9001 and ISO 15835-1.
